DSA is an acronym on Google ads and it stands for “Dynamic Search ads”. These ads get made from your website content it works by analysing the content on the page HTML elements such as:

  • Headings (H1, H2, H3)
  • Page title & meta descriptions
  • Paragraphs
  • Dot points

These ads are then made automatically from the content, it's different from standard standard ads where you select keywords DSA campaign uses AI to analyse the pages content to figure out what keywords to be bidding on.

Step 1 : Create a new ad group

Step 1: Create a new ad group

Step 3: This is whats behind the hood of a DSA campaign

Google’s systems then matches searches with your website content to show fitting ads. A DSA Campaign works great for websites with changing information or where they an abundance of products like for example a parts store selling 10,000’s different SKUs it saves you a lot of time rather than manually finding the right keywords to be bidding on.

The system produces headlines and landing pages to capture traffic you’d miss otherwise. It's still good to note that errors do still come about so it’s good to double check if the ads, keywords stay relevant and convert well.
